Summary

Stoptimizer is a route optimization app. We use information such as addresses, stop lists, route details, device information, and support messages to provide the app, improve reliability, process subscriptions, and respond to you.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your precise location or route data for third-party advertising. If we ever use app data for tracking as defined by Apple or similar platform rules, we will request the required permission first.

Data we collect

Information you provide

• Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, login information, and support contact details.
• Stop and route information, such as addresses, labels, route order, distances, estimated travel time, notes you add, and saved stops.
• Support and feedback information, including messages, troubleshooting details, and information you choose to send through chat, email, or forms.
• Billing and subscription information handled by app stores or payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data.
• Usage information, such as the features you use, button taps, error states, and general interaction patterns.
• Approximate location from your IP address when you visit the website.
• Precise location only if you grant device permission and only where needed for app features such as routing, maps, or navigation handoff.
• Website analytics and cookies, including Google Analytics data such as pages visited, referring pages, browser type, and interaction events.

How we use data

• Provide route planning, stop ordering, map display, navigation handoff, saved stops, and account features.
• Operate, debug, secure, and improve the Services.
• Process subscriptions, renewals, refunds, receipts, and account status through app stores or payment providers.
• Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and send service-related messages.
• Measure website and app performance, understand feature usage, and plan product improvements.
• Send marketing or product updates where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
• Comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect our rights, users, and Services.

How we share data

We share information only as needed to operate Stoptimizer, comply with law, or protect the Services. Categories of recipients may include:

• Hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and backup providers.
• Map, geocoding, routing, analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting providers.
• App distributors, including Apple App Store and Google Play, for downloads, subscriptions, refunds, and platform compliance.
• Payment processors and subscription management providers.
• Customer support, email, chat, and communication tools.
• Professional advisers, law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
• A successor or buyer if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Any third party that processes user data for Stoptimizer is expected to protect that data at least as strongly as this Privacy Policy requires.

Your choices and deletion rights

• You can decline or revoke device permissions such as location through your device settings. Some app features may work differently without those permissions.
• You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
• You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected].
• You can ask us to delete route, stop, account, and support information associated with you, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, billing, dispute, or backup purposes.
• If we rely on consent to process your information, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No internet or storage system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and improve Stoptimizer. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, aggregate, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

Children

Stoptimizer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International users

We may process and store information in Canada, the United States, and other locations where our service providers operate. If you use Stoptimizer from outside those locations, your information may be transferred to countries with privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

If you are in the EEA, United Kingdom, or another region with privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port certain personal information, as well as the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes and contact
